Interpretation of Psalm 23. Metatron
When I was incarnated in the body of the Israeli King David, some of my manifested Divine abilities were poetry and musical creativity. Based on the spiritual songs I created, the book of Psalms was later compiled, which in the modern Bible is called the Psalter.
In this article I want to tell you about the true meaning of the twenty-second psalm from this book.
I created it back in the years of King David's life, when I lived in the house of my physical father Jesse and was engaged in housekeeping, caring for the numerous large and small cattle on our farmstead.
At that time I loved to contemplate natural landscapes, seeing in them the beauty of the Divine Spirit manifested in matter.
Even then I was a contactee with Yahweh, an alien from the planet Tumesout , but I perceived Him as my God, for I felt that His Spirit is always One with the Spirit of the Heavenly Father.
The meaning of the twenty-second psalm is very simple: it is an expression of feelings from friendship with Yahweh and merging with the elements of nature, which for me already then were manifestations of Divine energies, and therefore, the powers of the Soul of Yahweh, my beloved friend and mentor.
In the original text of this psalm there was no mention of a shepherd or enemies. Hebrew is a language rich in words that are written the same but have different meanings, so the accuracy of translation from Hebrew into other languages depends not so much on a good knowledge of both languages, but on the presence of spiritual intuition and the purity of contact with the Spark of God in oneself.
In this interpretation I will explain to you the meaning of the words that I myself put into it when writing it.
The numbering of verses is given according to the synodal translation.
1. THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD; AND I SHALL LACK NOTHING.
The word translated here as "Shepherd" has two meanings: "shepherd" and "close friend." This is not surprising, given the reverent attitude of the Jewish people towards livestock, which served as a symbol of wealth and prosperity.
I used the word to mean "close friend" to express my feelings toward Yahweh. I never felt Him ascending above me or trying to control my will, so I could not put the meaning of "shepherd" into the word.
The verb translated into Russian as "I will not need" was written in the present tense, not the future. Thus, the first verse of the twenty-second psalm was written like this:
"Yahweh is my close friend and I do not need anything."
In these words I put a feeling of gratitude to God for what I had at that time. Although I lived in a poor family and worked hard, my Heavenly Father was always near, and the feeling of His presence was so clear and bright that it left no room in my heart for a feeling of envy and grumbling at fate because of my material and social position.
Even then it was clear to me: if a person keeps his spiritual heart pure, then it generates high vibrations, from being in which the Spirit feels eternal unconditional happiness, which does not depend on any material acquisitions and cannot be darkened by losses.
2. HE MAKES ME LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES, AND LEADS ME BY THE STILL WATERS.
The word translated here as "pasture" has a second meaning: "house, dwelling." The ancient Jews often lived in pastures, near their cattle, in small huts, hence the fusion of the meanings of these words.
The word translated as "grass" means "good green grass," and the word translated as "rests" means "to lie down, to rest."
The word "He" was not in the text of this verse.
The expression "leads me beside still waters" was not in this place either. I wrote an expression that can be correctly translated into Russian as "I go to the water, as to a place of peace."
Thus, the second verse of Psalm 22, when translated into Russian, would look like this:
"(I) rest on the green grass and go to the water as to a place of peace."
In these words, besides the obvious admiration for nature, there is a second subtext. Green grass is a symbol of the opening of the fourth energy center, which manifests the spiritual heart through the physical body of the incarnate immortal essence.
Remembering that its full revelation is impossible without filling the spiritual heart with love, you will easily see the meaning of the symbol of water. It denotes here the spiritual purity of the heart.
Thus, the hidden meaning of this verse shows that a person with an open heart energy center is in a state of spiritual purity, peace and harmony.
3. HE RESURRECTS MY SOUL; HE GUIDES ME IN THE PATHS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR HIS NAME'S SAKE.
The word that is rendered in the synodal translation as “reinforces” has always had the meaning “to bring back” in Hebrew.
Thus, a more correct translation of this verse would be:
"My soul returns and leads me in the path of righteousness (justice, fidelity, honesty)."
Here I spoke about how, after being in wonderful spiritual states, my soul returned to the body again and led me, as a whole person, along the path of righteousness. Righteousness is the desire for holiness, and holiness is the highest realization of Divine light possible for people on Earth.
It is very important for every person to understand that he is both a body and a Soul at the same time, but the Soul has priority over the body, because all the atoms in physical space were formed from spiritual energies, gradually descending through the subtle planes into the physical Universe.
4. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me.
Valleys of the shadow of death in Israel were called swampy areas, of which there were many in this area in ancient times. These were lowlands that were often filled with fog early in the morning, making it difficult to navigate, which caused the danger of falling into a deep quagmire and drowning. Therefore, there was a belief that the shadow of death often wandered through such places, looking for a new victim.
Moving through the swamps without a reliable staff was mortally dangerous. The staff was used to carefully examine the area of soil on which one had to put one's foot. Deep quagmire is often deceptive: trouble can be hidden under the green carpet of young grass.
I knew this very well when I was in the incarnation of David, because I had to walk through the swamps hundreds of times, looking for suitable pasture for my goats and sheep. That is why I mentioned here that it is safe to walk through the swamp only with a cane.
There were no words "because You are with me". God sees every person in any space and moment of time, because His energies are everywhere, but this is not a reason not to take care of your own safety. Each incarnate Spirit is responsible for his own body, as a part of his own being. I understood this in that life already at the age of ten and therefore believed in the protection and mercy of God, but did not forget to take a strong staff with me when I went to the swamp.
5. YOU HAVE PREPARED A TABLE BEFORE ME IN THE PRESENCE OF MY ENEMIES; YOU HAVE ANOINTED MY HEAD WITH OIL; MY CUP RUNS OVER.
"Enemy" is how they translated the word that most often denoted an unfree, bound person, that is, a prisoner who was sitting in a dungeon.
And the word that is translated in the synodal version as “prepared” is most often translated into Russian as “arranged, laid out”.
"Anointed with oil" is written in Hebrew with an expression that can be translated as "full of fat." Fatty food was considered the best, most nutritious and most expensive food at that time, so I expressed my intention to feed the hungry not just with food, but with the most valuable food I had.
The last words of this Hebrew verse are translated into Russian as "on the head the cup overflows." This refers to the full degree of filling with Divine energy of the seventh energy center, which looks like an etheric cup on the top of the head.
Thus, the fifth verse of the twenty-second psalm, translated semantically into Russian, looks like this:
"I placed food full of fat before the oppressed, and my cup on my head overflowed."
Here I meant the importance of active charity. When you selflessly wish with all your heart to feed the hungry, remembering that they are children of the same Heavenly Father whom you love, you attract a huge flow of Divine Grace from the Spiritual World. By doing so, you yourself bring closer your Enlightenment and merging with the Light of Love even in this life, using for this purpose those material means that the Creator of the Universe and your Heavenly Father have given you.
6. SO GOODNESS AND MERCY WILL FOLLOW ME ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE, AND I WILL ABIDE IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD LONG.
The meaning of the words of this verse can also be conveyed more correctly. For example, like this:
"Good mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. I shall dwell in the family of Yahweh for a long time."
Here I said that the kindness and mercy of people pursued me wherever I was, because I had been under the protection of Yahweh since childhood and lived spiritually in His Highest Angelic family. My entire subsequent life in the body of David was a confirmation of these words. Despite the many dangers and misadventures that arose on my path, and my common origin in the flesh, God elevated me to the royal throne of one of the great states of that time for almost fifty earthly years.
